The author received an honorable PhD in mathematics and majored in engineering at MIT. He attended different universities over 17 years and studied 7 academic disciplines. He has spent 20,000 hours in T2D research. First, he studied six metabolic diseases and food nutrition during 2010-2013, then conducted research during 2014-2018. His approach is “math-physics and quantitative medicine” based on mathematics, physics, engineering modeling, signal processing, computer science, big data analytics, statistics, machine learning, and AI. His main focus is on preventive medicine using prediction tools. He believes that the better the prediction, the more control you have.

Dr. Arun Sundararaman, in his current role, Heads Data and Analytics Technology Practice at Accenture, India. Having secured his Ph.D. in Information Quality Strategy from BITS, Pilani, India, Arun has been specializing in providing Data Management, Big Data and Analytics Solutions to leading Healthcare Payers / Providers and Public Health organizations. Arun has helped an Indian Government to architect, design and build large scale public health data repository enabling the Government in use of data for evidence based policy decisions in critical healthcare functions e.g. IMR / MMR, ambulance etc. A recipient of the prestigious Ballou-Pazer Information Quality Dissertation Award from MIT-IQ Program for contribution to Information Quality research, Dr. Arun has many International publications to his credit and serves on Editorial and Review Board of several international technology publications and is widely recognized as a thought leader in Industry and Academia.

Dr. Apt received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and is a Professor of Sociology at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina, USA. She teaches courses in Human Sexuality, Medical Sociology, Social Problems, and the Sociology of Genocide, a course she developed for the University. In 2011 she was honored as the South Carolina State University Professor of the Year. As a Medical Sociologist, Dr. Apt is a consulting member of the South Carolina Medical Association Bioethics Committee. Dr. Apt is also the host of a call-in radio talk show entitled, ‘Talk to Me,’ which addresses issues of sexuality and relationships.

ZAREMA OBRADOVIC, Full Professor of epidemiology, Faculty for Health Studies University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, PhD, Medical doctor, Specialist of epidemiology . Main areas of work: general epidemiology, zoonotic diseases, travel medicine, immunisation . Coordinator for diseases associated with climate changes for FB&H by WHO. Till now published over 220 scientific papers in different publication, medical journals, nacional and internacional symposiums and congresses. Scientific books :“Echinococcosis”, “International Travelers Healthcare”, “Epidemiology and Health Statistic”, “Applied epidemiology” “Zoonoses” and some chapter in the book “Occupational Health” . President of Association of epidemiologists of FB&H, Member of Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS ) Member of International Society of Travel Medicine( ISTM) Editorial Board member for Journal of Health Sceinces.

Marzeyeh Soleymani Nejad has just completed her PhD from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, School of Health. She has done her Ph.D thesis on reducing salt intake in Iran under supervision of Dr Nastarn Keshavarz-Mohammadi.

Dewi Susanna is a senior lecturer in Department of Environmental Health, Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia. She graduated from Doctoral Degree from Faculty of Public Health Universitas Indonesia in 2005. Her research interests are malaria, dengue fever, filariasis, food safety, hygiene and sanitation, and reproductive health. She is an editor in chief for the Kesmas: National Public Health Journal since 2014 and also from 2010 to 2016 for the Makara Journal of Health Research (MHJR) and reviewer of any national and international journals. She has published and presented a number of papers in her fields.
